Scope

Pages are fetched politely by BacklnkBot, robots.txt is respected, and only public websites can be audited. Every finding shows the evidence it is based on and when it was measured.

Limitations

  • • Previews follow each platform's documented tags; platforms may crop, cache or rewrite what they show.
  • • Google may rewrite titles and descriptions in results; a preview shows what you supply, not what Google will display.

Why does my old image still show on LinkedIn?
Platforms cache previews. The report shows what your page serves now; refresh the platform's cache with its own post inspector after fixing tags.
Is there an ideal title length?
There is no fixed character limit; results are truncated by width. The report flags very short or very long titles as a disclosed Backlnk heuristic.
