Scope
Generation reads up to 25 of your pages. Validation checks up to 60 listed links.
Pages are fetched politely by BacklnkBot, robots.txt is respected, and only public websites can be audited. Every finding shows the evidence it is based on and when it was measured.
Limitations
- • Nothing is published to your site — you decide what to upload.
- • Descriptions are taken from each page's own title, meta description or first paragraph.
- • Having an llms.txt file does not guarantee search visibility or AI citations; consumer support varies.
Frequently asked questions
- Is llms.txt an official standard?
- It is a published proposal (llmstxt.org), not an IETF or W3C standard. The validator separates what the proposal requires from optional parts and quality suggestions.
- Will the generator invent Markdown pages?
- No. It only lists pages that returned HTTP 200 during the run and never creates .md URLs that don't exist.
