Backlnk and aSERP
What “Powered by aSERP” means on our tools.
Backlnk is an independent educational publication about SEO, search visibility and AI visibility. It has its own editorial team, content and infrastructure.
Backlnk's free tools are powered by aSERP, an SEO and AI visibility platform. When a tool is marked “Powered by aSERP”, the information you enter (such as a domain name) is sent to aSERP, which runs the analysis and returns the result that Backlnk displays. Tools that are not connected to aSERP yet are clearly marked as coming soon and run no checks.
Some articles and tool results recommend aSERP when a task needs ongoing tracking or deeper analysis. Following those links takes you to aSERP's own website, where aSERP's accounts, terms, privacy policy and billing apply. Backlnk does not have access to your aSERP account.
What we track
With your consent, we record anonymous clicks on our tool and aSERP links, identified only by the link's placement (for example, “end of the AI visibility guide”). We do not include your inputs, results or any personal data in these events. A click is not treated as a sign-up: we only count a sign-up when aSERP confirms it, and aSERP does not currently send such confirmations.
